All one needs to do is sweep it across a line of text and it can magnify it up to 25 times. The magnification has been made possible by a bright, 655 x 488 pixel handheld scanner. The scanner picks up the words and pictures and transfers it to its base station which sends it to your television screen and the magnification ranges from 10X on a 14" TV to 28X on a 32" TV.
