Wireless office: Now wireless power June 7th, 2007
We talked about wireless power before, but an update on this idea shows how simple the idea is and how that this idea of wireless power is about 100 years old.
Of course this is more than just an idea now. There are several devices, one of which is pictured here, that are now ready for use in your office.
One of the worries is that if wireless power is readily available in your office for devices to absorb the power, could a person absorb the power and be worse for wear? Come to think of it, if your office is in a crowded space, much like the Starbucks I visited earlier this week, do I as a human being absorb some of the power in the radio signals?
There is a lot more to be researched about all the wireless power and wireless systems in offices. Watch this space!
