Mobile Phones

The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet has now been around for a few months since its January 2007 release. Although not yet available in the US it is available in Europe and Australia right now.
Every Flavour Beans has a good article titled "Why Nokia N800 Is An Ideal Device for Me" that reveals what is so good about the N800 compared to other offerings including the iPhone and the Nokia N770 (which is also another but earlier tablet).
One of the good features of the N800 is that you can use Skype to make calls via the Internet rather than the mobile telephone network. But also it can be used to freely browse the Internet using either the opera browser or the Mozilla browser.
Wikipedia also has a good article on the Nokia N800, tracing this Internet Tablet from its announcement at the Las Vegas CES 2007 Summit in January 2007 to what it is now. The article also lists its specifications and the software that is now available for it.
Notably, the N800 runs using a Linux Operating System and has open source software. There is now a good range of Third Party Applications written for the N800 including a Skype phone, a media player, a mapping program, and about 14 other programs.
This looks to be a good upgrade on the Nokia N770 and also a credible Internet savvy phone.

You do realize your second sentence is wrong? The N800 has been available in the US since January of 2007.
