whrrl: Find a Restaurant Socially November 4th, 2007
Often out travelling and don't really know where to eat? Or want a new place to take clients that is just a little different? Then you should subscribe to whrrl a new social site that recommends and rates restaurants and other eating places.
But whrrl is just not a site to recommend restaurants, but also a site where you can log onto the site using a mobile telephone and get a map and instructions on how to get to the restaurant of choice.
But it is also a social network site so if you are in a foreign town you can hook up with other whrrl users, or connect and find where your friends are tonight. Quite a good site, but it is going to have to get some critical mass before it is of much use.
