Apple did not (yet?) include video-capture capabilities on the iPhone and iPhone 3G. However, for those of you who prefer carrying one mobile device to do photos and videos, two companies, FlixWagon and Qik provide a way to do this on the iPhone.
Both solutions, however, require that you have a jailbroken iPhone, with FlixWagon requiringthe oldversion 1.1.3/1.1.4 and 2.0.1 firmware and Qik running on the latest 2.0.1.
The quality is nowhere near the N95 video but it is tolerable. One needs to consider, however, that video is processed on software rather than a combination of hardware and software like the N95's. One wonders if Apple will allow these two applications on the AppStore.
If it is available on the AppStore, will you buy it?
[edit: correction from FlixWagon. Thanks!]
