Wanting a free web email service?

About.com has an article titled "Top 10 Free Email Services" which lists the top ten services starting from the number one best Gmail. As noted in this blog before, Gmail is the best web email service since it gives virtually unlimited space to store emails (don't delete emails ever again just store them), and it has a very good web interface.

Listed amongst the best ten are: Inbox.com, Yahoo! Mail, FastMail Guest Account, AIM Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, goowy mail, BigString.com, My Way Mail.

There is one in the list that seems not to be a going concern now: Hotpop. It just does not respond to the link provided in a Google search.
