There is still time to take a summer holiday August 14th, 2007
I know that many of you are road warriors, traveling for work, and often when this is the case, the road warrior does not like to travel for a holiday. However, traveling for oneself is often much nicer than traveling for work, especially if there is some exotic place to go or a vacation with a difference.
If you live in the northern hemisphere and haven't yet taken a Summer vacation there is still time to do so.
Jordan Clark in Mashable has put together a great resource "Travel Toolbox" which covers more than 75 travel resources online. Quite honestly, this list is so comprehensive; any travel site you want is listed in this Travel Toolbox.
For those a little more adventurous you might want a summer vacation with an edge, like Backpacking in the Amazon, or a trip to the World's Best National Parks: Galapagos Islands.
Those of us in the Southern Hemisphere will have to wait our turn to go on vacation.
