There is a limit to Gmail

I remember the marketing blurb from Gmail "Never delete an email again". And now two and a half years later Gmail gives me 2881MB.

Now if you send and receive emails at the pace I do there comes a time when you really do run out of room and there is not more sending and receiving emails until you delete some of the unwanted emails.

Recently others have also experienced filling a Gmail account completely and having emails bounced off to their senders to say that your email cannot be delivered because the Gmail account of the receiver is full.

The way I have overcome the problem is to have two accounts, one with my name in full and another one is my public email using a nome-de-plume. This way I get two lots of 2881MB which is entirely satisfactory and enough room where I really don't have to delete any emails.
