SlingMedia finally releases their SlingPlayer Mobile for Symbian UIQ devices. I use SlingPlayer on my Macbook Pro to access the TV (in the US) whenever I am on the road. Unfortunately, though, I have to use a public hotspot to be able to do this since 3G in the Philippines is still spotty. With the mobile phone client, it becomes more portable. Unlike the desktop SlingPlayer version, the mobile versions are not free. The Symbian UIQ client is free for thirty-days, though. So what are you waiting for? Me? Well, I will see if I can hijack my brother's phone for testing. :)
