Skype extends its reach April 30th, 2008
Skype extends its reach to the mobile phone world when it announces the JavaME-based Skype client. Current services available are " chat, group chat, presence (seeing when your contacts are online), and receiving calls from Skype users, and through SkypeIn." Other services, however, such as Skype-to-Skype calls and SkypeOut calls are available in select countries such as Brazil, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Sweden and United Kingdom.
What are you waiting for? Get it now! Now, if only Apple will allow JavaME applications on the iPhone. ;D
