Secure Swiss Army Knife or is it a lemon?
A great place to maintain a list of username and password couplets, of course, why didn't I think of this before. A Swiss Armylinks Knife USB memory stick.

But then, what about all those flights where you cannot take anything larger than a toothpick? Certainly a Swiss Army Knife would not be welcome on a flight anywhere. No problem, if you want to use your memory stick on a plane, no problem, then buy the flight version. The flight version includes a red LED light, ballpoint pen, and the USB stick.

The SWISSMEMORY(tm) patented stick is equipped with 512mb of memory enables the storage of data of any kind. Connected to a Windows, MacOS, or Linux computer system you can have access to the data on the stick, save important files and encrypt the data for secure use using the SecureLOCK Software.

However, this may sound realy a good idea to save those really essential passwords, and important files. But consider this, security companies are not always forthcoming with the real facts, many security items are sold with great marketing hype that is just wrong. Consider the Secustick sold by a Dutch company complete with security device and in the event of someone actually cracking the code, so the marketing hyper said, the tool would go into self destruct mode so as to ensure the integrity of your files.

Secustick was cracked by Tweakers.net and guess what, it had no self-destruct mode when it was cracked. How many times are we taken in by security companies? Most of us would have no idea whether a virus protection program was genuine, or any other security device for that matter.

If it sounds too good to be true, it possibly is too good to be true. There is no reason not to believe the Swiss Army Knife flight version, it seems to be just another stick around 512mb. I have ten such sticks given to me for promotional purposes. But having that Swiss Army Knife added is a great idea.

You be the judge.
