PUTTY on your iPhone

One of the applications lacking on the OS X-powered iPhone is the Terminal.app. Yeah, I know it isn't a deal-breaker but for hard-core hackers out there, a console/terminal is indispensable. Eric Maland created pTerm for the iPhone (software based on the putty application on Windows).

In a nutshell, I'd say that it works as advertised. I am sure that CLI-lovers will love it. One thing about this app is that you do not need to jailbreak your iPhone to be able to use it.

For system and network administrators who telecommute, this is a must-have app.
