Power Your Cellphone from Your Solar Jacket

ZegnaSport has come up with the ultimate wireless recharging system, recharge your cellphone using the solar powered recharger on your Zegna sports jacket collar.

Set to be released in northern summer of 2008, Zegna says that its jacket will be able to power its inbuilt lithium to fully charged within 4 hours or it can charge a cellphone in about 2 hours.

The technology that is to be inserted into the Zegna Sports Jacket is developed by a company called iSolarX which has created this solar technology platform for use in clothing. The iSolarX platform consists of the solar modules, the textile integration kit, and the charging electronics.

Looks like a good way to recharge a cellphone while out and about. But I doubt I would be in the sun long enough to recharge anything!
