Passenger flying experience upgrade for 2008 May 11th, 2007

The flying experience for passengers on new planes due to start service in 2008 is up for a total upgrade. With potential court cases against airline companies due to health problems caused by poor personal space, airline companies and their counterparts in the airliner building are planning for much better personal space and in addition making larger windows so that "every seat becomes a window seat".
This all is made possible due to new materials planes are constructed from enabling building new larger windows. The new Boeing 787, due to be in service with Virgin Airlines first, is to have windows 30% bigger than current airliner windows. The 787 windows will extend above seat back height so passengers sitting in the middle of the plane can have a view as well.
With new technologies it is now possible to give each passenger more comfort in being able to breathe. Today's technologies require that breathing in the plane is similar to breathing at the top of a 8,500 foot mountain. But the 787 will have a 6,000 foot altitude setting making it much easier to breathe.
