NoPoPo Rechargeable Batteries: Just fill with water
Filed in archive Accessories by Elwyn Jenkins on September 18, 2007
While they are only available in Japan at the moment, they will be in other countries in early 2008. How they work is that a small amount of water causes a checmical reaction to create battery power. To recharge the batteries just add a tiny amount of water through a pipette - can be done in airport toilets
for example.Have no water? Then use some cola, or any other liquid you have available.
The batteries currently only work in the small sizes of battery, like AA and AAA. Larger batteries will be provided when the technology is converted to those sizes.
