With the impending release of the iPhone's version 2.0 firmware, Nokia is also improving on its Series 40 line of mobile phones. The sixth edition adds several new and improved features such as support for JSR-179 (Location API for JavaME) and JSR-205 (Wireless Messaging API 2.0), support for Flash Lite 3, and Web browser supporting HTML 4.01, CSS2, Javascript 1.5 and even AJAX. The first phone to use this new release will be the Nokia 7510 supernova phone. More information on their website.

With these new mobile phone software coming out, consumers surely benefit by having lots of choices. However, personally, I prefer the iPhone at the moment.
