Microsoft says it will power the mobile revolution

Microsoft's aim is to build a single and unified model of computing that seamlessly connects Desktop Computers, enterprise systems, the Internet use of those devices and set-top boxes including mobile phones.

According to Microsoft, Apple with its iPhone, or Google with its phone software to emerge later this year, none of them is close to having the capability to build the unified experience across all those platforms.

This maybe the case, but I know a lot of people who will simply not use the system because of Microsoft's pricey software and what is deemed by many to be bloat-ware. Time will tell. But don't be over enthusiastic about any new unified systems by Microsoft. I have seen something like this come and go. Microsoft don't always get it right.
