Your laptop fires up only to find that the laptop cannot detect a wifi signal. You either proceed to do some work on non-networked stuff but then you want to connect so that emails will not be so huge when you arrive at your destination.
If you had the Linksys WiFi Finder/Adapter in your pocket you would not have gotten into this wifi mess. Without even undoing your laptop, you can click on the wifi finder and walk through the terminal looking for a hotspot. When you find a network you can settle in a lounge/chair right near the hotspot and pull out your laptop.
As soon as the laptop is fired up you click the Linksys WiFi Finder/Adapter into a USB port and you are connected automatically to the network you found.
Same deal anywhere you go. The finder can locate a hotspot without you having to even start your laptop. A great little gadget that makes life just that little easier. You can purchase this item for around US$75 or even less expensive through Amazon.
