While this is not a choice that many people have, for completeness sake we need to compare the two operating systems Leopard (for Mac) and vista. At least some machines are now being released that could run either of these two.



The comparison of Leopard vs Vista is not entirely without fault - there are some features of this comparison which gives the winning operating system to Leopard, but that is possible due to the writer's own bias.

In my thinking, I would possibly give it to Leopard as I have tried Vista and have found it entirely too slow, so much software for so little functionality. While not the subject of this comparison, I have now favored Ubuntu 7.10 or Fedora 7 on my machines at home.
