Keywords and keyphrases to attract attention

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a necessity for the success of almost every site. SEO is the use of keywords from the beginning of the site that is called page title to throughout the website content. In particular, the density, placement and the actual keywords phrases themselves. There seems to be confusion over the idea of "key words". Some call "key words" strung out with two or more words "keyword phrase." Couldn't it be "keyphrase"?
THEN we have "keywords" and "key words" -- is it really one word? My spelling dictionary tells me that it should be two words.
In any case, what I wanted to say is that embedded on every page you should have a sample of "keyphrases" that people might use to search and find you in a search engine results page. But with so many possibilities of combinations how does one know which of these are going to be used, or could be used.
You need to use software tools to aid you in combining words to make keyphrases that make sense for your site. For example, the top nine keywords I would choose for my site would be: wireless, internet, wi-fi, office, access, network, broadband, services, software. Combining them into possible keyphrases would result in the following examples: office broadband, office services, office software, access broadband, access services, access software, network broadband, network services, network software and more . . . You can find the full number of keyphrases for my site in the Google Notebook titled "Choosing Keywords for Your Site".
THERE are also some recommendations of sites where you can find software tools and services to help you build keyphrases.
