If you telecommute you might like to build yourself a robot as did Ivan Bowman.
While Ivan had permission from his employers to live 1,350 miles away from his desk at work, they had not prepared for what would eventuate when Ivan used his creative juices.
Ivan found that not being in the office to talk face-to-face with other employees often stunted his work, so he worked on a way to make it possible to be in a co-worker's office — build a robot.
Now, if Ivan has a great idea he would like to talk fact-to-face with another co-worker he simply drives his robot to the co-worker's office and then can talk face-to-face. The ivananywhere robot runs on a wi-fi connection to the network/Internet and uses a web-cam, a display and robotic motors and a battery.
