Everyone is gasping at the new iPod range which includes the iPod Touch — an iPhone look-alike that is an iPod and not a phone.

But many are asking if that is really what they want. Opponents to the apple ipod see the Nokia N series as being a good competitive product.
Yes, that's right, a Phone as being a competitor to the Apple iPod. The N81 can hold up to 2,000 songs and sports an iPod-like wheel, FM radio and a 2.8-inch screen.
One of the key aspects of the new iPod is to enable it to play full-length TV series downloaded from iTunes. Connection between a shop selling music and videos seems to be a real powerhouse for Apple. Not so for Sony who has announced the closure of its Walkman Brand which it failed to revive and its store selling music. Apparently the iTunes competition is to tough to battle.
