iPhone 1.1.4 Firmware Unlocked!
Apple released firmware 1.1.4 for the iPhone to add some bug fixes to the previous firmware. It is speculated that this also preps the iPhone for the release of third-party applications, which may be launched next week, in an Apple event in Cupertino.

In just a few days, the iPhone firmware 1.1.4 has been jailbroken and unlocked by third-party hackers. It came as a surprised on how fast the tools came out and how easy it was to apply. No more crazy terminal mumbo-jumbo, no need to install SSH, just activate, jailbreak, install an app, tap it and boom! Unlocked iPhone.

Now, you can even jailbreak your iPhone from within iTunes. Talk about simple!

So, with the SDK coming out and I bet there are already applications being signed by Apple for iTunes distribution, I wonder if the new unlocked 1.1.4 will be given access. Let's see what happens next week.
