How to extend your Macbook Air's battery life

We all know that the Macbook Air is designed like apple's iPods and iPhone, i.e, non-user-replaceable batteries. Just like the iPods and iPhone, now there is an external battery that you can purchase to add power to your Macbook Air. Made by QuickerTek, the Macbook Air external battery/charger will set you back a little more than USD300 for 6 to 10 hours of extra battery power. Not bad, I must say but it is a bit too expensive.

This one, although almost 4 times more expensive than Apple's portable batteries, is better than having an extra removable battery.

The question is – road-warriors, are you spending US$300+ to extend your Macbook Air's power? Personally, I am still on the fence on this one… at least until I find out what Jobs will be releasing next week!

Verizon is about the only place you can get the authentic RIM product and matching door. Most other sites are out of stock and even when they are in stock they have the black battery door which looks like crap.

I’m not sure why my brain works this way…I do know other people can remember their work in detail. My blog is a log of what I’m learning and reflecting about. It’s an essential part of my learning process. It replaces the notebooks and journals and stenopads I carried around.
