How the new media reporters do it
Filed in archive Wireless by Jayvee Fernandez on March 6, 2007
I'm a consultant for a huge news website here in the Philippines. From website text, they have branched out to other forms of new media such as blogs, podcasts and even online video. With really affordable equipment, you can achieve a digital recording studio for audio and video. For instance, when we were doing the Elections 2007 podcast here in the Philippines (we interview all the senatorial candidates) some reporters "ride on" with the use of video recording capabilities of the Nokia N91 mobile phones and upload the short clips on YouTube instantaneously via Bluetooth to a laptop.

Technology has really made publishing so much easier on the Internet - cheaper, faster and way cooler.
