How much data is that?

Ever really sat down and tried to figure out what all these data figures mean? Like do you really know how much data there is in a Gigabyte?

How much data is that? is an article giving examples of commonly used terms to describe the amount of data. The article gives examples from commonly known examples to show the meaning of the "data term".

For example, heard of a "Terabyte"? Do you know how much data that is?

A terabyte is the next measurement up from a Gigabyte, and a terabyte of information could contain all the x-ray films in a large technological hospital.

What is more interesting is that 20 Gigabytes, a term we commonly use, could contain the complete works of Beethoven.

It is worthwhile just picking through the examples given to really understand what we mean when we use these data descriptive terms.
