Google's strategy to organize the world's information
Wow! "A new acquisition every few days and sometimes one a week", the words of Google's CEO Eric Schmidt talking about Google's acquisitions.

Review for a moment some of the Google acquisitions, put together by SEO by the Sea.

Little wonder that we are being served such a feast of new tools -- and that is their strategy -- building tools for people to organize their own information. Google is not in the game to acquire content; their strategy is to acquire tools so that other people can create content, such as Google Notebook, is a way I can create notes and put these online.

My favorite is JotSpot -- a wiki building idea. Have fun in trying some of the ones that may be new to you in the list above.
