Google Translate goes mobile   August 17th, 2008

How many times have you found yourself in a foreign country and looking for someone who speaks your language to translate the street sign or a menu entry? Well, been in that situation not too many times. However, I'm sure that most of our road warriors or business jet-setters bring with them a tool to help in translation. iPhone users now have the convenience of having Google Translate at their disposal. With translations for more than 24 languages to date, what else do you need? :) The downside, of course, is that it is an online tool instead of a native iPhone app.

Well, I wish that there is a translate for Filipino, too. Notice the image, it is in Filipino. :)
