Google named worst privacy offender
A study has named Google the worst privacy offender well behind eBay, and even Microsoft.

If you are a heavy user of Google services, such as Google Notebook, Gmail, Google Reader, Google Docs, picasa and the other hundred or so Google services, you might want to consider this privacy issue. Perhaps the services that potentially expose any business secrets you might want to not use Google Docs -- using something like AbiWord for those more critical documents.

Ultimately, however, I do not see too much of a need to protect yourself other than the discrete document or two. My trust is well placed in using the many Google Services, I think. I have personally not had any reason to be cautious on too wide a scale.
