Mobile Phones

Google Gears, is a Google technology that allows web-based applications to continue running on Firefox and Internet Explorer even whilst it is offline. Now, this is available for the mobile platform, currently supporting Microsoft Windows Mobile.
Support for other platforms will soon follow and I am hoping that with the iPhone SDK coming out already, mobile Safari will support this, too. Should that happen, a whole lot of applications will surely replace native apps developed using the SDK. :)
Anyway, not to be outdone, Nokia inks deal with Microsoft for its Silverlight technology. This will be supported in S60 and S40 mobile phones from Nokia.
I wonder where Adobe and Sun are - yoohoo, anybody home?
