Funambol Mobile 2.0 Messaging Powered by Open Source

Funambol announces support for the iPhone with version 2.0 firmware. If you have one of the mobile phones that are readily supported by Funambol, you can try the myFunambol portal.

myFUNAMBOL (http://my.funambol.com) enables you to get mobile email on your phone, backup contacts and calendar over the air, and use contacts and calendars from desktop mail clients with your iPhone and iPod.

The open-source alternative to Apple's new MobileME will definitely make it easier for those who want the same MobileMe services without the USD99 damage. :)
