Fastest Flash Drive: OCZ ATV Turbo Flash   October 13th, 2007

I have pointed to a few flash drives recently: the wine bottle flash drive, and the Digital Focii flash drive. Now I would like to introduce you to the fastest flash drive, the OCZ ATV Turbo Flash.

Fastest Flash Drive: OCZ ATV Turbo Flash

So why all the fuss about flash drives? Answer: a flash drive can be one of the most liberating tools you can use to ensure you have all your data in one place and yet be able to move from one computer to the other and not have to carry a laptop with you.

I have three flash drives in my arsenal. One on which I maintain a copy of every username and password combination for anything online to which I subscribe. Another for key documents I am working on right now, such as a business plan I am writing, spreadsheets of budgets, and more. The third flash drive I have contains portable applications that I can run on any computer, and not a single item of data is left on the machine I am working on.

So to find a good fast flash drive is important to me, especially to find one that can run my portable applications. A faster flash drive makes the time from inserting the drive in a USB port to start working a lot less and therefore more efficient working time.
