Enroute to an environment friendly source of power
Nature published a research paper from University of California - Berkeley scientists titled "Enhanced thermoelectric performance of rough silicon nanowires". What this potentially means is that power can be harnessed from our own body heat! While not entirely new technology, this breakthrough made improvements in extracting more power!

The race is now on - who will bring this into commercial reality? Who will give us a shirt that has a USB port so we can plug our devices whilst on the go? The potential is limitless! Yes, I am excited, aren't you?
