Dutch Consumer Association Declares War on Windows Vista
Filed in archive Software by Elwyn Jenkins on October 14, 2007
I have been highlighting on this blog the fact that Windows Vista is really not ready for widespread use. I have even had a new laptop running Windows Vista not able to run all services on the laptop.

Dutch Consumer Association Declares War on Windows Vista

A Dutch Consumer Association has declared war on Windows Vista since Microsoft refused to supply the consumer association members with a copy of Windows XP if Windows Vista could not run the member's computer. Microsoft declined to offer XP in these cases saying that this was not really an option.

The Consumer Association however sees that Microsoft is not playing ball as Microsoft has offered business users who have difficulty with Vista a copy of Windows XP.

Just further proof that microsoft vista is not pleasing millions of people around the globe in spite of paying in the vicinity of $300 for a license. I know in our household we have a copy of Vista not in use because it cannot do the job of running my printer, my dual screens, and every hour or so it told me that I don't have a valid license.
