Doing backups of your Google data

So like me you are now an avid user of google online services. You have data in Gmail, Docs & Spreadsheets and in other locations as well. AND now you must consider whether in fact at some stage Google is going to send you a message "sorry about your data but we could not save it".

To properly backup your Google data Lifehacker has given a few options on how to backup your Gmail data, Google Docs & Spreadsheets, Google Calendar, Google Reader subscriptions and Blogger. Lifehacker says:

There isn't one easy, universal backup for all Google Apps, but there are methods that work. The strategies outlined below require different levels of work and commitment on your part.
