D-Link DSL-924 54Mbps ADSL Wireless Router Starter Kit

In this series of posts concerning hardware you might purchase to start a home/office wireless network we come to the last device which is a great way to start a home/office wireless network.

This recommended device, the "D-Link DSL-924 54Mbps ADSL Wireless Router Starter Kit" is a ADSL modem, plus router and includes a USB dongle to wireless-network-enable a PC or a laptop.

The DLINK device under discussion here is an easy way to get started. When buying this unit from your own country the installation CD lists the top twenty Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in your country. So you do not have to know anything more than your username and password on your choice of ISP and you are up and running within just a few minutes.

This unit is priced between US$95 and US$140 although it can be purchased in the UK for 69.95 Pounds and in Australia for AU$145.
