Choose an alternative to Windows Vista September 30th, 2007
There seems to be an ever growing trends for purchasers of new PCs and laptops to choose to install windows xp rather than Windows Vista. Even though Windows Vista cost 6 billion to develop and five years in the making it seems that people are choosing the rather more stable Windows XP.

Other sources are saying that there is an ever growing trend for people to shun Windows Vista and installing Ubuntu.
What is noted is that we now have more and more options for operating systems. While some are opting for staying with a downgrade to Windows XP, choosing XP is still paying the Microsoft tax. Some individuals and a number of businesses find that this tax on computing activities is far too rich. That is why Ubuntu, Fedora and other Linux flavors are becoming ever popular.
