Blackberry Users Are Losing Out
Filed in archive Lifestyle on November 11, 2007
Use of Blackberry phone/computing devices is on the increase and according to work related psychologists, the use of Blackberrys is often to the detriment of family life.

Work is now invading personal space and affecting one's whole family. People using Blackberry devices feel compelled to answer an email or send messages when in family time.
Work life has now come to be a 24 hour 7 day a week commitment and Blackberry type devices is keeping the working community in touch during time that needs to be spent with family, and/or other times when following personal interest.
Overall, because people feel they must be available to answer Blackberry messages and/ior to write messages to keep the team on top of things, people are become less and less satisfied that they are actually getting their job done - far less personal satisfaction.

From the day it was launched, Blackberry has revolutionized the way people text. Mobile internet usage really took off after blackberry's introduction in MOBILE INDUSTRY.

very true. it wont be a far fetched statement to say that people with company provided blackberries have higher stress levels than most other working people

Users are not the only one sending emails and texting through their Blackberry, now all smart phones have same capability to receive, send and text. We need to manage our own time.
