Backup Often

Filed in archive Lifestyle by Jayvee Fernandez on March 14, 2007

Today I lost my entire address book. I had deleted my offline address book on MS Outlook in order to resync it with my online address book on Plaxo. As it turns out, Plaxo auto updated this change and deleted my address book which synchronized all the way to my Macintosh Address Book which then synched with my Blackberry addy book. Lost! All lost!

The only backup I had was with my old phone - at least the numbers were still there though I'd have to re-enter them manually.

So we go back to the age old advice of technology .. backup your devices often. Wireless or not, there will always be some way the conduit will try to connect between your devices. Sucks to be me now!
