I have been a member of the Twitter mini-blog system for a few months but I fail to see really what it does for me except waste time. However, there are Twitter addicts who cannot help themselves and because of all the hype there are those on the net who ridicule and make fun of these addicts. Take for example the cartoon, thanks to Amber Mac:
There are also a set of "socially-acceptable rules" to which many never take any notice. And then there are Twitter Applications that make twitter a more satisfying experience.
Maybe you can make more sense out of Twittering every few hours telling people what you are doing right now - that is the basis of twitter - let people know what you are doing right now. There seems to be an awful lot of people doing it and some even think there is some business sense in Twittering.
