Software

Software maker Adobe has now entered the Office competitive space, in competition with Google's Docs & Spreadsheets, Zoho Office Suite, ThinkFree, Lotus and others.

Adobe has purchased Buzzword, in which it had invested, and now is taking into the fold to begin its foray into a full Office Suite.
In addition though, Adobe is also to introduce a service called "Share" which is a free file sharing service for publishing and sharing documents online.
Adobe's Buzzword is a full step ahead of Microsoft in that Buzzword can operate using its flash technology on any operating system whereas Microsoft is constrained to its own Windows platform. Expect Linux followers to use Buzzword, as well as Mac and other systems.
