ABC of Wi-Fi Networking

To be better informed on the topic, I completed a Notebook Review of links and sites where Wi-Fi is explained, introduced and some general tips on making a Wi-Fi network secure. I even included a YouTube video on a really cool way to improve your Wi-Fi network.
This Introduction to Wi-Fi Networking is a quick guide in case you had heard about Wi-Fi but didn't really know much about it. I have included definitions and explanations of Wi-Fi, as well as tips and tricks of making Wi-Fi work better in a home or home office environment. If you are like me I do not have a systems administrator to work things out for me -- in my home environment I am the most knowledgeable person and so have had to learn this stuff myself.
The really good find is "10 tips for improving your wireless network" from Microsoft. This page from Microsoft works through ways to make sure your home Wi-Fi gives you the best service all around your home. Some very good recommendations.
In the "Introduction to WiFi Networking" there are the top ten links to learning about and settling a home wi-fi network. Have fun reading more about Wi-Fi, and maybe there is a rainy day activity there to make your network work better.
